Private dining truly is an occasion everyone should experience at least once (we say more - enjoy private dining for work but also pleasure!).
As our menu features only the finest prime beef burgers and lavish lobsters, it seems only fit that we offer private dining too. Our private dining experiences are on offer at selected Burger & Lobster restaurants in the capital, including our iconic Canary Wharf location.
Feast in Private
We’ve spent years perfecting two ingredients, hey, we even named our restaurants after them to prove our passion…but believe us when we say it’s Burger & Lobster with a twist in the finest sense. Here’s a flavour of what’s in-store should you join us for private dining in Canary Wharf.
First, let’s make sure from the get-go that you’re well aware that we would never, we repeat never, expect you to choose between Burger & Lobster. Introducing the B&L Combo, specifically designed for those indecisive guests that want the best of both worlds. This dish features a half or a whole Original Lobster, as well as our Original 5oz Burger, served with a clarified butter or lemon and garlic butter.
Love lobster? Then you’re in for a fine private dining feast no matter what you choose, as our lobsters are wild-caught and from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Choose either our hugely popular lobster rolls - boasting chunks of jam-packed lobster meat sandwich between a toasted brioche roll - or go for the classic whole lobster, served steamed or grilled in lemon and garlic butter with fries, salad alongside our infamous lemon and garlic butter sauce. There are also options to upgrade to truffle sauce or to share lobsters dishes at market price.
If you’re here for the burgers, we don’t blame you - so let’s direct you straight to the Original Burger, starring eight ounces of succulent Nebraska beef with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and B&L’s secret burger sauce served with knockout B&L fries and salad for good measure.
If it’s a unique option you’re looking for, then definitely consider our Buttermilk-fried lobster tail including lettuce, lobster mayo, fresh tomato, homemade pickles, red onion and a herb ranch dressing served in a brioche bun.
And, if neither of those is for you - we highly doubt that, but sometimes this happens - then our Simply Vegan burger made up of a vegan patty, grilled red pepper, lettuce, red onion, vegan cheese and a spiced burger sauce will surely hit the spot.
Now, there’s a reason we always save this burger until last. Our one-of-a-kind B&L Beast Burger includes a combination of family-farmed Nebraska beef and lobster too with brie, truffle and tarragon mayo, fennel and cabbage is one hell of a crowd pleaser.

Location
When it comes to private dining, Canary Wharf certainly hits the spot thanks to its unique location. Not only will you be dining amongst London’s boats in Canary Wharf but you’ll have plenty to talk about as you’ll be based inside a refurbished quayside warehouse, which once held all sorts of West Indian imports, such as sugar, rum and tea.
This Canary Wharf private dining area is situated on Hertsmere Road, just a three-minute walk from West India Quay tube station - not to mention surrounded by a myriad of fun things to see and do around London’s Docklands. There’s the Crossrail Roof Gardens, a juxtaposition of nature against the sleek skyscrapers of Canary Wharf, Museum of London Docklands (which is free and open to public seven days a week), the opportunity to hire a boat and get out on the water, Jubilee Park for an afternoon reading or strolling, or if it’s a spot of retail therapy you’re after then Canary Wharf Malls is the the place to be.
Whatever the reason, there’s always a time and occasion to go private and our private dining rooms in Canary Wharf combine the best food, tantalising drinks and the beauty of the Docklands for an all-round incredible experience.
