Where Is Charing Cross?
Charing Cross Station is one of London’s most central stations situated at the busy streets of the Strand and Whitehall, south of Trafalgar Square, its location is infamous as it is built on the site of the famous Hungerford Market, opening in 1864 and today features French Renaissance style frontage on the station.
With views of the Shard, Charing Cross is in close proximity to Leicester Square, Embankment and Covent Garden and is commonly known as the centre of London and the point from which distances from London are all measured.
